In this extended podcast, Mike also shares his approach to making artists comfortable enough in the studio to give their best performance in this epic two and a half hour podcast interview. The human approach and the artists’ vision triumph over all.

Mike Exeter was the engineer/producer responsible for recording the Who Cares project led by Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, Ian Gillan and Jon Lord of Deep Purple and Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden on drums (with Jason Newsted on bass, recording remotely). Proceeds from the song they recorded helped build a music school in Armenia, a region still recovering from the horrific earthquake that struck in 1989. The documentary created by Christina Rowatt from this session can be viewed below.
